A General Meeting of the Magellan Athletic Club was held in the English School on Saturday, January 10th at 9 p. m., and the Statutes were then read and accepted.
The objects of the Club are to close in the Football Ground at present leased by the British Sports and Union Clubs and to build a stand. Those desiring to secure some of the few remaining £ 1 shares should apply to Mr. Alex Cameron at the Electric Light Company's offices.
