MILITARY  RECRUITMENT

Your King and Country Need You.

A Call to Arms

In the grave national emergency which now confronts the Empire men are asked to come forward to serve their country. Those who are unable to pay their own passages to England will be assisted by the Magellan Times Patriotic Fund.

Terms of Service
(extension of age limit)

Age on enlistment 19 to 38, ex-soldiers up to 45. Height 5ft 3in. and upwards. Chest 34½ inches at least. Must be medically fit.

General service for the war.

Men enlisting for the duration of the war will be able to claim discharge, with all convenient speed, at the conclusion of the war.

Pay at Army Rates

Men wishing to join should apply in person to the Editor of the Magellan Times who will give the applicant an order on Doctor France to be medically examined.
