The advent of the mass-produced motor vehicle was a boon for overland transportation
in Patagonia. To meet the growing demand, Scotsman Thomas
MacDonald and his
partner Michael[?] Noonan opened their automobile workshop "International
Garage" around
1918 on Calle Sarmiento in Río Gallegos. Judging from the advertising markings on the exterior of the open vehicle (see photograph below), we may deduce that the Felton family also participated in this line of business. |

MacDonald, junto con su socio Miguel[?] Noonan, instalaron el taller "Garage
